OUR MISSION

To increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.

OUR VISION

To be the leader in fostering powerful partnerships to impact the human care issues that matter most to the people of our community.

Community Impact

The United Way helps focus the efforts of our community.  The work of volunteers, and the energy and resources of the communtiy are targeted in areas where they can have the greatest results.

The areas identified as most important, are Abuse & Neglect, Basic Needs, Dependent Care, Health & Mental Health, and Crime/Juvenile Delinquency.  These five areas were identified as important by individuals from throughout the Northern Shenandoah Valley.

Your contribution is invested carefully and systematically in programs that make a difference.  We have a great responsibility to make sure your contribution is invested in the most effective way possible.
